Leap Year Fun

No one can say that we don't know how to celebrate when a celebration is in order! To mark the 29th February, a day which comes once every four years, we had a magic show for the primary, paper artwork display by visitors from New Delhi for pretty much the whole school, and very interesting and motivational talks presented by Mrs. Jo Yaish of the British Council about the upcoming paralympics and the life of Charles Dickens. All of these activities were well received and thoroughly enjoyed by both pupils and teachers.

Today, 1st March, is World Book Day and we celebrated the day by having a book swap throughout the school and primary children designed and made bookmarks. Tomorrow we are having a dress-up day in which pupils (and teachers) can come as a favourite character from a book. That should be fun! Watch this space....
