Final stages of renovations...preparations for back-to-school

As the days begin getting shorter, we begin looking to the end of the summer holidays and the beginning of another action-packed school year! What? Already? Yes, unfortunately.

With all this comes the BIG CLEAN as part of the preparations. Most of the renovation work is completed and the cleaners have started to get the classrooms ready for the teachers to come in and start their preparations. Admin staff is back to school from Monday and hopefully we will start to see teachers trickling back to do the all important setup and prep for the first day for pupils, which is on Wednesday 28th August.

Reinforcing the wall between Tabeetha and the French School.

The new stairs down to the playground.

Installation of a ramp for wheelchair access to playground.

New rubberized surface in the Garden for Reception and Grade 1.

Pile of rubble from the Garden waiting to be removed.

Front of the school always becomes a storage area for materials needed for renovations. This will all be cleared by the end of the week.
