Our teachers enjoyed the first session of our Continuous Professional Development for the year on Friday 27 September. The theme is "Developing Communities of Inquiry" and the sessions will be delivered by Dr Jen Glaser, Co-director, The Israel Center for Philosophy in Education.
The first session covered an introduction to questioning techniques, which involved many practical tools for use in the classroom, across the curriculum, including how to ensure that all children are involved in discussions. We are looking forward to further sessions with Dr Glaser as the school year progresses.
