Strathclyde Choir

Pupils, staff and some parents and special guests from the community were treated to some beautiful choral arrangements of traditional Scottish songs. It was truly a cultural experience for our pupils, many of whom have never been exposed to something like this before. The audience took part in exercises to warm up before singing - much to the shock and horror of many of the pupils!

After the main session we were invited to continue with a workshop with the Choir, which included the singing of Auld Lang Syne, complete with actions! The group of pupils was small, unfortunately, but it was a special time anyway. The afternoon ended with a member of the choir teaching us a traditional Scottish dance.
